Surrounded by the Sevilleta National Wildlife Refuge, El Malpais National Conservation Area and the Cibola National Forest, Belén offers a full array of recreational opportunities like hiking, biking, camping, swimming, horseback riding, and more. With a strong economy and a large variety of retail, service sectors, hotels, restaurants, friendly residents, and historic sites to visit there’s endless fun to be had all year long.

As a well-established community that welcomes everyone, the majority of the residents in Belén have strong roots in the area and embrace newcomers, especially folks who love the Rio Grande Valley and plan on making it their new home!
